Alabama

The number of novel coronavirus cases in Alabama has now reached 9,046 according to the Alabama Department of Public Health’s 8 p.m. EST Thursday update.

The number of reported cases in Lee County stands at 417, while Russell County’s total stands at 69.

There have been 116,319 tests done statewide. Private labs are not required to report negative tests — meaning it’s possible that the actual number of tests conducted could be greater.

The state reports 369 COVID-19-related deaths Thursday evening. To view the full list of Alabama COVID-19 cases, click here.
