USA South postpones fall sports

NCAA Division III conference USA South, which includes LaGrange College, has postponed fall sports due to COVID-19.

The sports impacted are football, men’s and women’s soccer, volleyball and cross country.

The conference is working to reschedule those sports to the spring, according to USA South Commissioner Tom Hart.

The fate of the college football season for the Southeastern and Atlantic Coast conferences will likely be decided soon.

The ongoing coronavirus pandemic has forced all conferences to determine how fall sports can proceed, if they move forward at all. The Pac 12 and Big Ten have announced plans for conference-only seasons, while the Big 12 has yet to make a decision about its seasons.
