Co-owner of business damaged by fire says it's a "...place that gave life to a lot of people, to us."
Columbus firefighters extinguished a business fire they were called to early this morning at the House of Ma'at business at 5402 15th Ave.
Columbus Fire Marshal Ricky Shores said no one was injured during the incident, which started in the basement around 12:34 a.m. Wednesday. The building was left with $100,000 worth of damage to the structure and $50,000 worth to its content.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
The House of Ma’at is a wellness ministry that specializes in massage therapy and medicine.
