Historic District intersection to close for a month
The intersection of First Avenue and Seventh Street in the downtown Historic District will be closed to traffic for a month, the city has announced.
The closure will start next Monday, allowing a contractor hired by the city to make needed repairs.
The city will put up a signed detour route along Broadway, 6th Street, 2nd Avenue, and 8th Street. The intersection is expected to be closed for approximately four weeks.
