Ferguson praying for victims of shooting

Congressman Drew Ferguson, who represents Georgia’s 3rd Congressional District, gave his response to the shooting which occurred Wednesday morning at a practice for a congressional baseball game.

Five people including Republican House Whip Steve Scalise were wounded.

“I am praying for my friend Steve Scalise and all of the victims of today’s senseless attack,” Ferguson said. “I am grateful for the swift actions of Capitol Police and first responders.”
