The RiverCenter for the Performing Arts announced on Facebook popular comedian Kevin Hart is making his way back to Fountain City for a show.
Hart will be performing in the Bill Heard Theatre Saturday, Sept. 23, 2017, at 7:00 p.m. as part of his “Irresponsible” tour.
Tickets for the show are already on sale at the RiverCenter’s website, starting at $47 and going up to $77.
Columbus is one of six stops for the opening leg of his tour, Hart announced on his Twitter feed Wednesday afternoon. He’ll be making two other stops in Georgia, Macon and Augusta, as well as across the southeast including Mobile, Ala., Shreveport, La. and Asheville, NC.
Hart performed here nearly a year ago at the Civic Center on Aug.7, 2016. General seating for that show started at $78, according to a Ledger-Enquirer report.
“It’s probably one of the most popular comedy tours for the last year,” said Ross Horner, director of the Civic Center said at the time. “He’s been all over the world with this. For us, it’s a really big pick-up and being one of the smaller markets on this tour is a really big deal for us.”
