Arby’s is serving giant turkey legs to celebrate ‘Game of Thrones’ finale
With nervous excitement boiling over among “Game of Thrones” fans, millions are waiting to see how the epic medieval-themed show’s next-to-last season will end Sunday, Aug. 27.
Now, Arby’s is “getting medieval” too by releasing giant smoked turkey legs to celebrate the season finale of HBO’s cultural mega-hit.
The giant pieces of meat, which you can usually only pick up at Renaissance fairs or carnivals, are seasoned in salt and brown sugar, smoked and then “roasted to perfection,” Arby’s said in a release.
They’re fit for a king or queen, Arby’s said, and though the promotion isn’t official, the dire warning that “Turkey is Coming” leaves little doubt that the battle of ice and fire is on the restaurant’s mind.
The turkey legs are only being rolled out in nine regions, so if you want to get a bite of the action, subjects in the Valley will have to head up to Atlanta, where Arby’s has its “crown jewel” headquarters.
