Renown organist to give free concert Sunday at Wynnton United Methodist Church
A review in Stereophile Magazine saysrenown organist Dan Miller’s “finesse and technical virtuosity is truly amazing.”
And the Toronto Organ Club in Canada says, “you don’t have to be a fan of organ music to be utterly amazed by Dan Miller.”
Reviews such as those are on a news release announcing Miller will be giving a free concert at 3 p.m. Sunday at Wynnton United Methodist Church, 2412 Wynnton Road in Columbus.
You do not have to attend the church to come and enjoy the show.
Miller is in his 18th year at Rodgers Instruments, one of the world’s leading organ builders. He is also an adjunct professor of organ at George Fox University in Newberg, Oregon.
Miller has recorded 22 CDs from which some selections have been broadcast on National Public Radio’s “Pipedreams.”
A church organist since he was 15, he has served at several churches across the country.
