Two free trips to Munich, Germany will be given away at Fort Benning.
One man and one woman will get the trips for two by winning a special contest at Oktoberfest Oct. 20-22.
A Masskrugstemmen is a traditional Bavarian endurance contest during which constestants hold a one-liter stein of beer in one outstretched arm for as long as possible. It is called stein hoisting here.
The four-day trips, courtesy of brewer Hofbrau, include hotel accomodations and meals.
The competition is open only to the public, amateurs only. You must be 21 to enter. Participants pay $10 for the stein and $10 for the beer.
There will be two preliminary rounds Friday and three Saturday. The winner of each preliminary round advances to the finals Saturday night.
