Don't want to cook for the holidays? Here's some restaurants open on Christmas Day

Christmas brings memories of homecooked meals, cookies and hot chocolate by the fire -- but some might just want a hot, quick meal on Christmas to share with others.

Here's the restaurants around Columbus that will be open on Christmas Day:

Note: Hours vary by franchise and location so your best bet is to call the restaurant to ensure they're open before showing up. Click on the restaurant name to find the location nearest you.

Denny's: The restaurant on Macon Road will be open all day on Christmas.

Waffle House: They're known for staying open rain or shine, Christmas or just another Monday.

TGI Fridays: The store on Adams Farm Dr. will be open from 4 p.m. to 12 a.m.

IHOP: Grab a stack on pancakes at any time on Christmas Day (they're open 24-hours).

McDonald's: Hours of operation on Christmas are decided by franchise owners. If it's a corporate location however, the store is likely following regular hours. Best bet is to call the restaurant nearest you to find out the hours.

Starbucks: The location on Manchester Expressway will be closed for the day, but two other locations are available for business. The Bradley Park store will be open from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. and the Veterans Parkway one will be open from 7:30 a.m. to 8 p.m.
