YMCA changes hours because of weather

Because of the threat of a winter storm, one YMCA branch in Columbus will be closed Wednesday and two will open at a later time.

Operations Director Scott Balkcum said the A.J. McClung YMCA will not open Wednesday. The D.A. Turner YMCA and the John P. Thayer YMCA will both open at 10 a.m. instead of the usual 5 a.m.

“We will closely monitor the weather to see if there need to be any other changes,” Balkcum said.
