Multiple injuries reported in 2-vehicle crash on Macon Road

Macon Road was temporarily shutdown Wednesday morning after multiple people were injured in a two-vehicle crash.

The crash occurred around 10 a.m. in the eastbound lane of Macon Road, under the Interstate 185 underpass.

The SUV and vehicle were quickly moved from the road and normal traffic resumed around 10:30 a.m.

The crash briefly shut down the northbound exit ramp on I-185 on Macon Road.

Multiple people were taken to the hospital for non life-threatening injuries. Additional details were unavailable, Columbus police said.
