Students from the TSYS Learning Center helped the company make a big reveal Wednesday morning during their announcement of the results of their 2018 United Way campaign.
TSYS announced they raised $1,275,987 for the United Way of the Chattahoochee Valley during their 2018 United Way campaign.
Keith Pierce, an executive vice president at TSYS, said he is often asked how TSYS attracts the kind of employees who show their caring and giving nature in ways such as this campaign. He said it’s a reflection of the company’s values, traditions and culture of serving, giving and caring.
“I hate to over simplify it but we just care at TSYS,” Pierce said.

Scott Ferguson, president and CEO of the United Way of the Chattahoochee Valley, said he is amazed by the company’s efforts on behalf of the United Way.
“You made our day today,“ Ferguson said. “Your gift to this community through the United Way is changing people’s lives each and every day and I can’t say thank you enough for that.”
The money raised locally stays in the Chattahoochee Valley. TSYS also raised money in other U.S. cities where they have locations. The money raised in those communities also stays in those communities. The TSYS corporate total is $1,711,958.
