Here’s what’s opened and closed on Christmas in the Chattahoochee Valley

Here’s what’s going to be open and closed in the Chattahoochee Valley this year.

No yard waste or garbage will be collected on Dec. 24 and Dec. 25.

The Civic Center, the Ice Rink and Parks and Recreation will all be closed, as well as Animal Control, on both Dec. 25 and Dec. 26.

There will be no bus service on Dec. 25. On Dec. 26, the METRA bus will be running on the Saturday schedule.

In the modd for something besides holiday food? There are a few restaurants open on Christmas.

Hardee’s locations will be open from 8 a.m. until 8 p.m. on Dec. 25.

A select few Starbucks locations will be open on Christmas as well. The Starbucks on 1522 Bradley Park Dr. will be open from 8:30 a.m. until 10 p.m. and the Starbucks at 6783 Veterans Parkway will be open from 6:30 a.m. until 9 p.m. A full list of locations can be found on their website.

Waffle House, as always, is open on Christmas, as well as Denny’s.

If you need to run out and get some last minute Christmas gifts, Walgreens will be open as well as CVS.
