Columbus woman dies in house fire on Christmas Day
A Columbus woman died Christmas morning during a house fire, officials said.
Sue Hart, 48, was pronounced dead at 2:14 a.m. Wednesday, said Muscogee County Chief Deputy Coroner Freeman Worley.
Nothing appears suspicious about the cause of death, Worley said.
It seems related to the fire on 31st Street, he said, but her body will be sent Thursday to the GBI crime lab in Atlanta for final determination.
