Columbus couple killed in overnight house fire, officials say
An overnight fire ended with a Columbus couple dead, officials said.
The Columbus Fire Department was called to the 800 block of Linchfield Road in reference to a fire at 2:09 a.m., Saturday. Billy Goss, 83, and Joanne Goss, 81, died, according to Muscogee County Coroner Buddy Bryan.
The Georgia Bureau of Investigations will complete autopsies.
