It’s almost August.
The summer heat is in full effect, but the time for local high school football teams to start practicing for the fall season approaches. Once school begins, and high school games get going, athletes across the region will be playing the pride of their schools and communities.
As with most sports, one of the things that makes football great are the rivalry games. Those games where supporters don’t care (much) if their favorite team loses every game, as long as they beat their most hated rival the season was a success.
The Ledger-Enquirer wants to put it to our readers. What high school football rivalry in Columbus and surrounding areas is the best? Which rivalry is plays the best games and is full of the most passion?
