GasBuddy analyzed over 150,000 gas stations from all over the country and found that over the last week, gas prices have fallen around 9.9 cents per gallon.

Filling up your vehicle today will likely save you money later — the latest report from GasBuddy states gas prices may soon rise again.

“Wholesale gasoline prices having bounced back up some 40 cents per gallon as oil prices have rebounded,” said Patrick De Haan, head of petroleum analysis at GasBuddy. “That means the decline in average prices could wrap up soon.”

Currently, the national average is $3.92 and the state average in Georgia is $3.45, according to AAA.

The most expensive places to get gas in Georgia:

  • Savannah: $3.58

  • Hinesville-Fort Stewart: $3.57

  • Atlanta: $3.51

  • Brunswick: $3.43

  • Macon: $3.43

However, there’s no need to fret, we’ve got some good news.

Prices here in Columbus are lower than most of the state.
