Cataula man dies in Russell County accident on Tuesday
A Cataula, Georgia, man died following a traffic accident that occurred around 5:10 p.m. on Tuesday.
Ricky Cook, 65, was pronounced dead at the accident scene after his 2007 Chrysler van struck a 2002 Kenworth semitrailer.
The crash happened about 11 miles south of Phenix City on Alabama 165 near mile marker 20.
Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s Highway Patrol Division is still investigating the incident.
