Hey Columbus! If you’re looking for something fun or exciting to do in town this weekend, The Ledger-Enquirer has compiled a list of things to do for kids and adults.

For the art lovers

Art & Black History: The Columbus Parks and Recreation Department is hosting an art day on Feb. 20 from 5-7 p.m. at 6550 Psalmond Road in Midland. You can decorate a coffee mug while learning interesting facts about Black history.

For the kids and adults

Arbor Day Celebration: The Keep Columbus Beautiful Commission will host the 45th annual Arbor Day Celebration from 11 a.m.- 1 p.m. Saturday in Lakebottom Park near 18th Avenue and Springer Street. You can bring the kids out for games, prizes, facepainting, giveaways and food trucks.

Columbus River Dragons: The Columbus River Dragons will be hosting the Delaware Thunder Friday-Sunday at the Columbus Civic Center. Come out, grab some nachos, and watch as the River Dragons lace up their ice skates and attempt to crush the competition. Saturday will be military appreciation night at the game, where the team will don special jerseys in honor of military veterans.

Springer Opera House: The Springer will host An Evening with Sean of The South this Saturday to help benefit MercyMed of Columbus. Sean Dietrich is a columnist, novelist and podcast host whose works have been featured in the likes of Garden & Gun and Southern Living. Tickets are $25.

Columbus Symphony Orchestra: At 7:30 p.m. Friday the Columbus Symphony Orchestra will host an event titled “Can This Be Love?” at the Rivercenter. It will feature music from West Side Story, The Lion King, Frozen and more. The musical adventure will explore all kinds of love from romantic to platonic and good to bad. You can buy tickets here.

For the adults

Karlous Miller at the Rivercenter: This Sunday enjoy the best comedian to ever make Mariah Carey jokes to Nick Cannon on Wild N’ Out. Karlous Miller will make a stop at the Rivercenter as part of his At the End of the Day tour. You can buy tickets on the Rivercenter website here.
