How hot will it be? Here’s the weather forecast for July Fourth in Columbus

Hot and sticky is what’s on tap for your holiday weekend forecast, Columbus.

But in order to help you prepare for your festivities for the upcoming Fourth of July holiday, the Ledger-Enquirer has compiled a day-by-day holiday forecast using the National Weather Service website.

Friday: Today will hit a high of 98 with a 14% chance of showers and humidity of more than 50%.

Saturday: Saturday will be mostly sunny and hot with a 30% chance of showers and thunderstorms after 2 p.m. Make sure to hydrate as the high will be near 99 F.

Sunday: Sunday will be mostly sunny and hot with a 30% chance of showers and thunderstorms after 2 p.m. The high will be near 97 F.

Monday: Monday will be mostly sunny with a 40% chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly after 2 p.m. The high will be near 96 F.

Tuesday: On the Fourth of July there will be a 60% chance of rain and showers and thunderstorms are likely. The high will be near 94 F.
