One woman dead after single-vehicle crash in Russell County Tuesday, Alabama police say
A Pittsview woman is dead following a single-vehicle crash that occurred around 3:22 p.m., Tuesday, according to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA).
Patricia J. Klein, 70, died after the 2009 Hyundai Sonata she was driving left the road and struck a ditch and then a tree, according to the release.
ALEA says the crash happened on Alabama 165 approximately 10 miles south of Phenix City.
A passenger in the vehicle was injured and transported to Piedmont Columbus Regional Medical Center for treatment, according to ALEA.
The case is being investigated by ALEA’s Highway Patrol Division, according to the release
