Man dies Monday after weekend shooting in Columbus, Muscogee County coroner says

A man died Monday after a shooting Saturday morning in Columbus, according to Muscogee County Coroner Buddy Bryan.
Bryan said Versher Williams, 46, was pronounced dead at 5:08 p.m. Monday after suffering a gunshot wound to the abdomen.
The shooting occurred Saturday morning in the 1000 block of Samson Avenue, according to Bryan.
