Don't tell a group of World War II Rangers that the Ranger Rendezvous ends Thursday with the 75th Ranger Regiment's change of command.
While it may not be on the official agenda, Friday's shooting gallery competition at Ranger Joe's on Victory Drive will team up 22 of the vintage shooters from six decades ago with a like number of modern day marksmen from the regiment and the Ranger Training Brigade. Teams will be formed by a random drawing.
The competition, which begins at 11 a.m., will be followed by lunch at Cup o' Joe's Coffee Shop inside Ranger Joe's.
The public is invited to stop by the store, watch the competition and to meet the veteran soldiers.
