Bullets tore through a Columbus woman's apartment early Saturday, police said.
Erica Jones, 23, of Boxwood Boulevard told police she heard several gun shots and the sound of breaking glass close to 4 a.m. She got up to check on her son and discovered two bullets had gone through his bedroom window and into the living and dining rooms.
When police arrived, they saw that two rounds had gone through the sleeping boy's bedroom window and another had become lodged in the wooden frame of the window. Jones and her son were not injured.
There were no witnesses to the shooting and police have no suspects.
