Columbus' St. Luke United Methodist Church is holding a "Hope for Autism" seminar on Monday to provide expertise and training to families, friends, local churches and day care facilities to assist with welcoming into their establishments families who are dealing with autism.
Dr. Caroline Gomez, director of the Autism Hope Center, will present the seminar, which will emphasize insights into autism, preparing the environment and meeting individual needs.
The seminar will be from 6-8 p.m. Monday in the St. Luke Ministry Center, 301 11th St. To make reservations, call 706-256-1017.
