Toys that have made it into the National Toy Hall of Fame will be on display Saturday at Golden Park, 100 Fourth St., Columbus, during the game between the Columbus Catfish and the Asheville Tourists, according to a press release.
Toys will be on display during the game, which begins at 7 p.m., and fans will learn the history behind some of the most-loved toys. And some of the toys will be given away.
Those who bring a new, unopened toy for Santa’s Castle on Fort Benning and receive $2 off their ticket. The goal of Santa’s Castle is to provide toys for children of Fort Benning soldiers, who because of financial difficulties, would otherwise not have toys at Christmas.
