Golden Dragon Acrobats postpone appearance in Bill Heard Theatre

Because of visa issues the Golden Dragon Acrobats of Hebei, China, will not be able to make it to Columbus' Bill Heard Theatre in the RiverCenter for the Performing Arts next month.

The acrobats were supposed to perform on Sept. 7, but will reschedule its show to April 30.

"It's yet another Chinese recall ... just kidding," said RiverCenter marketing director Darlene Hughes Kittrell. "This is due to immigration visa issues, which with overseas performing acts is not unusual, especially with their first show on a tour.

"We encourage those who have already purchased tickets for the Sept. 7 show to hold on to them until the spring event."
