State Rep. D-Junction City Debbie Buckner will be among those speaking at "Global Climate Change: A Statewide Water Plan: What are the Consequences for Georgia?" town hall meeting Aug. 30.
The town hall meeting, which will be from 6:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. at the Psalmond Recreation Center, 6550 Psalmond Road, is for anyone who wants to know more about what is happening to water in the state and what it means for their business and family.
Other speakers will be Billy Turner, the president of the Columbus Water Works, and representatives of Georgia Conservation Voters and the Sierra Club.
