Three Opelika, Ala. men who are suspects in a Aug. 2 home invasion robbery are now in the Muscogee County Jail.
The suspects — Marcus Owens, 20, Jestin Owens, 28 , and Jazmon Bailey, 22 — were arrested in an apartment building in Opelika shortly after noon Friday and were placed in the Lee County Detention Facility until they could be extradited to Columbus.
They were wanted in Columbus for allegedly invading the Riverland Drive home of Quantoria Green who was held at gunpoint with Victor Moore while robbers ransacked the residence. The invaders kicked Moore in the stomach and head until one of his eyes was swollen shut. The thieves took cell phones and assorted items of clothing.
Four semi-automatic handguns were found inside the apartment where the men were arrested.
