"All That Jazz" is the next act in the Phenix City Parks & Recreation Department's 2007 Summer Concert Series, 5:30-7 p.m. EDT Thursday at the Phenix City Amphitheater.
World class guitarist John Scott Evans along with David Ragsdale of Kansas and several other band members will perform original music as well as some popular jazz cover songs from Evans' latest CD "Above the Sun." Originally from Atlanta and at one time a Columbus resident, Evans now lives in Los Angeles.
Local performer and recording artist Kevin Vannoy and his Jazz Quartet will also appear.
Admission is $10 for adults and free for children 12 and under. There is a discount for students 12 thru college of $5. Concessions will be available for food, drinks, beer & wine. Folding chairs are permitted. No pets, smoking or coolers allowed.

Following "All That Jazz" on Saturday will be the legendary 1960s' rock group The Grass Roots. The group sold over 20 million records and hold a record for being on The Billboard charts for 307 straight weeks. Their hits include “Temptation Eyes”,” Two Divided By Love”, “Where Were You When I Needed You”, and “Heaven Knows.”
Gates will open at 7 p.m. EDT with the show beginning at 8. Admission is $10 with children admitted free.
