LaGrange woman kidnapped, robbed

Police in LaGrange, Ga., are investigating a kidnapping/robbery by force.

Officer says that on Monday, Teresa Alsabrook was walking near the intersection of Newnan Street and Sanford Avenue in LaGrange when two men traveling in a blue four-door automobile approached her.

It is believed that one of the men exited the vehicle and forced Alsabrook into the back seat. After a brief struggle, Alsabrook escaped from the moving vehicle and suffered superficial injuries.

Alsabrook told police that a small bag containing money was missing from her purse.

The driver of the vehicle is described as a thin, white male between 18-20 years of age, wearing a doo-rag with a skull and crossbones on it.

The other suspect is described as a thin white male between 18 and 20 years of age, approximately 6 feet in height, with a short haircut.

The incident is under investigation.
