Columbus man pleads not guilty to child pornography

A Columbus man facing child pornography charges pleaded not guilty in Columbus Recorder's Court today.

Rickey Holmes, 50, of 1208 19th St., was given a $15,000 bond by Senior Recorder's Court Judge Michael Cielinski for his three counts of computer pornography and child exploitation. The charges stem from the execution of a search warrant Tuesday that revealed pictures of three children in states of undress, said Columbus Police Detective Mark Richards.

"He made a statement that he thought the kids wanted to be photographed," Richards testified.
