Alabama Attorney Gen. Troy King is calling on state residents to honor "National We Don't Serve Teens Week", designated by the Federal Trade Commission for Sept. 10-15.
The goal of "National We Don't Serve Teens Week" is to focus attention on where teenagers often get alcohol -- from social sources -- and to stop that practice. A survey cited by the FTC reveals that 65 percent of teen drinkers said they got alcohol from family members or friends.
