When Shia LaBeouf leaked the name of the fourth Indiana Jones film at this week's MTV Video Music Awards, it wasn't the first glimmer of information out about the eagerly anticipated sequel to the high adventure series, which combines again the talents of Steven Spielberg, George Lucas and Harrison Ford.
LaBeouf — who will portray a sidekick in the film — gave the name of the film, "Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull." But already Yahoo! News reported that much of the film will be set in South America, for which filmmakers use Hawaii as a stand-in. Likewise, Lucas OnLine announced that Karen Allen will return in the role of Marion Ravenwood, a throwback to the original "Raiders of the Lost Ark." And USA Today reported that Cate Blanchett will be the film's leading lady.
Filming is underway now, with a scheduled release date of May 2008.
