Caregiving summit in Americus

Many of America's leading experts on caregiving will be participating in a national summit Thursday and Friday in Americus, Ga.

The meeting is being hosted by the Rosalynn Carter Institute for Caregiving and Georgia Southwestern State University.

More than 250 health care professionals, social service workers , administrators, policy makers and caregiving advocates will be involved.

At the awards gala on Thursday night Annie Johnson of Plains, Ga. will be honored as Georgia Family Caregiver of the Year.
