Columbus man is Troy's top alum

Stacy Faison, a senior relationship manager/vice-president of private client services at CB&T, has been named one of three Alumni of the Year for Troy University and was honored during Troy's game against North Texas State last weekend.

"When I first got the call that they were going to do this for me, it was truly a humbling experience," Faison said. "With the history of Troy University, the time that I spent there and how special it was to me, it was very humbling and I really appreciate that recognition."

Fasion was one of three alumni and one honorary alumnus recognized by the university. The other honorees were Lee “Bubba” Pinckard of Elba and Samuel Whalum, Jr. of Montgomery as Alumni of the Year, with Douglas C. Patterson of Troy recognized as the Honorary Alumnus of the Year.

Faison is the president of Troy's newly formed Chattahoochee Valley Chapter. He is serving as 2007 Chairman of the Business Division for The Chattahoochee Valley United Way Campaign.
