Adult store robbed with AK-47

An adult store on Veterans Parkway was robbed at gunpoint Thursday night, said Columbus Police Lt. Mark D. Starling.

Two men, one armed with an AK-47 rifle and the other yielding a shotgun, walked into Starship Enterprises at 4402 Veterans Parkway at 9:25 p.m. and demanded money from the cashier.

The employee complied and the suspects made off with an undisclosed amount of the store's money. Starling said no merchandise was taken.

No shots were fired and no one was injured.

One of the suspects was described as a black male, between 5-feet 10-inches and 6-feet tall and skinny. He was wearing a cream-colored ski mask and a white t-shirt. The other suspect is also a black male, about 6-feet tall. He was wearing black pants, a red t-shirt and black tennis shoes.
