Chiropractor gets probation for tax evasion

Robert D. Ressmeyer, a Columbus chiropractor, received three years' probation today after pleading guilty in June to two counts of failure to file a federal income tax return. The plea could have warranted up to two years in prison, according to the U.S. Attorney's Office.

"Your honor, I have no excuse that I can render for the situation I got myself into," Ressmeyer told U.S. District Court Judge Clay Land.
