Gaither is National Choice

Scottie Gaither, 8, who attends River Road Elementary School in Columbus, has been chosen as the national child representative for Easter Seals.

Scottie was diagnosed with serious autism when he was 2.

He will appear in Easter Seals videos and on posters.

Sharon Borger, CEO, Easter Seals West Georgia, says Scottie is an "independent little guy with the skills he needs to cope. He's social, he's engaging and a bundle of positive energy."
