The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers at West Point Project announced that the project's operations and maintenance contractor, Anderson Construction Company, will continue the annual effort to repaint the government boundary line around the reservoir.
This year the contractor began working along the northern side of Yellowjacket Creek near Cameron Mill Road. The team then proceeded upstream toward U.S. Highway 219, along Young's Mill Road, then on to Old Youngs Mill road where it is currently working.
Anderson workers are wearing fluorescent orange or yellow vests and white hard hats. The Corps wants to make the public aware of this work so local residents are not alarmed by their presence.
