Kameron Paige, a 13-year-old from Columbus, was named one of 50 champions across America.
Tuesday, he will be recognized at the Georgia Capitol on the floors of the House and Senate for his role as an ambassador for Georgia.
Last spring, Kameron, who attends Richards Middle School, was involved in a bicycle accident that resulted in severe head and chest injuries. He was transported to the Medical Center's Level II Trauma Center where he stayed in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit for several weeks. After multiple surgeries and weks of intense treatment and therapy, Kameron has become one of the miracle children of the Children's Miracle Network.
