Two men were robbed at gunpoint and one man was transported to The Medical Center after being struck in the top of the head with a pistol about 8:20 p.m. Tuesday in an apartment off Fort Benning Road.
Two men burst into the apartment armed with a shotgun and pistol, said Columbus Police Capt. Gordon Griswould. Arnold Wright, 29, received a laceration to the head when he was struck with the pistol, and was taken by ambulance to The Medical Center for treatment.
He and roommate Alfred Raglin, 47, both were robbed of an undisclosed amount of money, Griswould said.
The assailants left the apartment running toward Ticknor Drive and reportedly went onto Torch Hill Road, he said. No arrests had been made by Wednesday.
