Internationally known classical pianist Jon Kimura Parker is winding down a three-year engagement as the Dr. E. Stephen Purdom Distinguished Visiting Artist at Columbus State University’s Schwob School of Music. He will be performing in one of his final RiverCenter for the Performing Arts concerts at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday in Legacy Hall.
Parker will perform Igor Stravinsky's "The Rite of Spring,” using only two hands and 88 keys in his arrangement of a complex orchestral score for 110 instruments.
It's a concert not to be missed.
Tickets are $10; $5 for seniors, military personnel, CSU faculty and students with a valid ID.
