Great new music — we Kidjo not

Angelique Kidjo's music found a wider audience than typical Afro-pop world music artist (if there is such a thing) in 2002, when Dave Matthews did a guest turn on the song "Iwoya."

The frat pack might come back around now, two albums later, as she releases "Djin Djin." Josh Groban, Carlos Santana, Alicia Keys, Branford Marsalis, Peter Gabriel and Ziggy Marley are among the guest spots.

And while we're on the subject of girl power, Tori Amos' latest, titled "American Doll Posse," also comes out today.

We're not sure why Elvis Costello felt the need to recast yet another best-of collection, but "The Best of Elvis Costello: The First 10 Years" does a nice job if you don't already have an earlier collection. He also releases a second, louder and more interesting collection called "Rock & Roll Music."
