The "Mary J. Blige and Jay-Z: Heart of the City Tour" is part of a 25-city tour. The duo will be in Atlanta's Philips Arena, 1 Philips Drive, at 7:30 p.m. April 8. Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Saturday.
The two superstars have had a long collaboration, working together since 1986, with the hit "Can't Knock the Hustle."
This tour marks Jay-Z's first since 2004. As president of Def-Jam Records, he helped guide the careers of Ne-Yo, NAS, Kanye West and Young Jeezy.
Blige's eighth album, "Growing Pains," was released in December and reached platinum status in three weeks. She has won six Grammy Awards, among the 25 awards in all, including the NAACP Awards, American Music Awards, Billboard Awards, BET Awards, MTV's Video Music Awards and Soul Train Awards.
