Congressman Lynn Westmoreland will present a resolution to Hughston Orthopedic Hospital Wednesday for being named as one of the top 15 places to work in Georgia.
"It's truly an honor for this hospital to be chosen for this special honoree list," Westmoreland said in a statement. "This resolution will be documented in the national registry for people to read for years to come."
The Columbus medical facility announced in November it made Georgia Trend magazine's list.
"We are truly honored to be recognized as a great place to work, especially since employee feedback is the basis for Georgia Trend's rankings," Don Avery, Hughston Hospital president and chief executive officer said in a statement. "We try to provide a work environment for our employees that is both satisfying and rewarding. The beneficiaries of this are our patients."
