Chattahoochee schools to have Voices 2008

The Chattahoochee County School District's festival "Voices 2008" will be next week.

It is made possible by a grant through the Georgia Council for the Arts through the appropriations of the Georgia General Assembly.

On Feb. 28, there will be an international cultural festival at the Chattahoochee County High gym featuring cultural presentations from WHINSEC personnel. It will be 8 a.m. - 3 p.m.

On Feb. 29, there will be a fiesta dinner and dance in the school's cafetorium. Tickets for the dinner are $5 and $3 for the dance.

On March 1, the Atlanta dance troupe Tango Rio as will as singing by Carrie Hayes Valentine and the Chattahoochee County High Choral Ensemble will highlight Voices 2008 in the cafetorim. There will also be student art and poetry.

Admission is $7.

All events are open to the public.
