Colonel Milo Miles, Deputy Commanding General of Fort Benning and Assistant Commandant of the U.S. Army Infantry Center, is being promoted to the rank of brigadier general during an 11:30 ceremony Friday morning at the Benning Club on Fort Benning.
Miles is a veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom and served as the executive officer to the chief of staff of the Army in Washington, D.C. before taking over the position of deputy commander of Fort Benning last August.
His close family will participate in the ceremony tomorrow by pinning his stars onto his uniform.
