Synovus Financial Corp. Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Richard Anthony heads to Boston next week to speak with banking executives at a regional conference, the company said Thursday.
Anthony will address the 2008 Keefe, Bruyette & Woods Regional Bank Conference, which will be webcast live on Feb. 28.

Synovus shares (Ticker: SNV) were trading 22 cents lower at $11.87 apiece in mid-afternoon trading Thursday on the New York Stock Exchange.
The company's 52-week range is $10.35 to $33.82, with the higher number coming before Synovus' Dec. 31 split with credit-card processing subsidiary TSYS, also headquartered in Columbus.
